Shrikhand Mahadev Trek

Shrikhand Mahadev peak

The Shrikhand Mahadev trek is popularly named after Lord Mahadev or Lord Shiva. This place was named by the pilgrims and the trek leads to Shrikhand Mahadev Peak. One of the key attractions of this trek is that you get to see a beautiful peak of the Himalayas from the Parvati Valley. When you are on this trek, you will also get to see ranges of Kullu, Rangrik, Kinnaur, and other popular peaks.

To reach the base camp for this trek, the entire team at Broza Adventures will be driving to the Shimla crossing the Satluj river entering the Kullu district and finally Driving again towards the Jaon Village. This trek will take around 7 Days.

Best time to do Shrikhand Mahadev Kailash Yatra:

When it comes to the best weather for the Shrikhand Mahadev trek, then we can say that the spring season is during the month of summer which is from June to September. It is generally considered one of the best seasons to do the trek because the weather conditions are good with clear sky. However, you may find some places a bit crowded.

Also, September to November is another time that is considered one of the best times to do the Shrikhand Mahadev Trek. The view and the weather are amazing with so little crowd which will give to some of the experience of life.

It is recommended that you do not plan your trek during June, July, and August because it is typically the monsoon season when the weather is bad and it is mostly raining all the time which can lead to landslides. Also, the months of December to February are very cold and full of snow which makes trekking again very difficult and dangerous.
