Pha Konda trek is known to be a really type of trek. Not only this is known to be one of the most rewarding treks but also offers such a great scenic especially for people who love adventure. During the trek, you will get to see beautiful scenes along with lush green forests, small valleys, and some rocky ways when you move further toward the Pha Konda mountain.
Also, the view that you get to see from the top will mesmerize your heart and you will feel on top of the world. You will find snow-capped mountains and hills which are worthy of being captured.
Mid of May to November is considered the best time for Pha Konda Trek as the weather this time is not that harsh and perfect for the trekkers out there. There is easy access to several areas that are mostly closed during December due to excessive snow.
Here is a full detailed itinerary for you so that you can understand well how we will be taking you for the Pha Konda Trek.
On Day 1, we will start our journey from Manali to reach Tilgan which is our campsite. The journey will take approximately 3 hours and upon reaching we will do some warm-up exercise after which you will get some hot breakfast which will make your morning. This day we will be spending at the Tilgan campsite.
By the end of the day, our guides will train you on how to climb and give you all the information about different types of gear and other equipment.
On Day 2, we will be moving forward from Tilgan to Sarotu which is a trek of overall 5 hours. During the trek, you will get to see a good view of the whole of Kullu and Manali. You will get to see a lot of sheep and shepherds in this location as they are very common here. Nature is full of lily kind of flower leaves and greenery all around.
We will be staying overnight in our tents amidst nature which will again be a wonderful yet challenging experience.
On day 3, you have to make your way through big boulders as we move forward towards Pha Konda Trek. This day will be challenging since your endurance will be tested to a great extent, but at the same time, it will be like a lifetime achievement. You will feel great when you get to see such a magnificent view from the top.
This trek is full of dense forests where you get to see silver firs, blue pins, and cedar which you will love to see. From Sarotu, we will be moving forward to reach the Jogi Dugh which is a meadow, also considered one of the holy places.
Day 4 is going to be a bit of an exciting day since we will move from Jogi Dugh to Khari Mandari which is one of those trekking destinations in Manali which is not known to many trekkers. It is a destination which has a lesser number of trekkers and you will get to see alpine trees everywhere. Khari Mandari is known to be a climb which is a difficult one since there is constant climbing. However, upon climbing, you also get to see the famous Chandra Bhaga and the Pirpanjal range.
The spectacular view from these ranges will blow your mind and you will feel amazing.
After spending the whole night in the camps, we will be now leaving Khari Mandari to reach Jobri from where we will be driving back to Manali. This drive will be approximately 6 hours. You will get some time here for some shopping if you want and by evening time we will finally depart and take ownership of our locations.
