The Name of this peak, if you look at this peak from a distance, you will see a woman with a kilta basket in her back and the shape of the Draati is visible in her hand. You can see the shape in winters and in the same way you can see this shape clearly in summer.  Keylong is situated in the lap of this peak, due to which the name of this peak was named Lady of Keylong and situated just on top of the Tinno village and the villagers always admire this beauty.

Detail Itinerary

Ice clombing

Day 01: Arrival in Manali

On Day one all participants have to reach Manali, Check in at Hotel, Room will be provided to you on three sharing basis, Team Broza Adventures will meet with all participants, Instructor will let you know about all the schedules so that you can buy personal things from Manali, paper work done in day one overnight stay at Manali hotel.

Tinno village

Day 02: Manali To Tinno Village Base Camp

  • Altitude: 2,050 meters to 3,330 meters
  • Driving distance: 86 kilometers
  • Time taken: 3-4 hour
  • Difficulty: Easy

Drive from Manali to Tinno village in Lahaul is a 3 hour journey. The total distance from Manali to Tinno village is approximately 70kms. We will be leaving from. Manali early in the morning. During the journey, we will be crossing through a village called Shooling. The roads here are not that risky however it can be tough to drive during the winter season. We will be crossing the Tandi Bridge to reach the Tinoo village where you will probably unload your luggage and then you will proceed towards the campsite or the base camp. Too village is a beautiful village which is surrounded by vegetable fields and lots of different kinds of trees.

Load ferry to camp 1

Day 03: Load ferry From Tinno Base Camp to Camp 1

  • Altitude: 3,330 meters to 4,200 meters. 
  • Distance: 3 to 4 kilometers. 
  • Time taken: 5 hours. 
  • Trail type: steep rocky path. 
  • Difficulty: Moderate

On Day 3, after reaching the base camp, we will. have everything organized for you and the entire team. As per the reports, the base camp has cellular networks. After reaching the base camp your subsequent days will be spent doing the load ferries which is yet another amazing thing of the journey. 

You will have full guidance from the instructors of Broza Adventures. You have to note that the next few days will be tough as the weather conditions are going to be extreme and there will be snow and ice everywhere.

Established camp 1

Day 04: Establishment Of Camp 1

  • Altitude: 3,330 meters to 4,200 meters. 
  • Distance: 3 to 4 kilometers. 
  • Time taken: 5 hours. 
  • Trail type: steep rocky path. 
  • Difficulty: Moderate

On day 4, we will be reaching campsite 1. While on this journey, you will be on a route which is not normal and it will be full of icy rocks and snow.

Camp 1 to camp 2

Day 05: Load Ferry to Camp 2

  • Altitude: 4,200 meters to 4,800 meters. 
  • Distance: 3 kilometers
  • Time taken: 5 hours
  • Trail type: streep climb with technical section and glacier walk. 
  • Difficulty: challenging

Today we will do a load ferry day where we will be rolling the loads up and down until we reach the camp. It will be a busy day. After this day we will be reaching the campsite which is generally not an easy climb since we will be finding snow and hard rocks and ice on our way which is adventurous yet difficult to experience.

Camp 1 to camp 2 trek on snow

Day 06: Established Camp 2

  • Altitude: 4,200 meters to 4,800 meters. 
  • Distance: 3 kilometers
  • Time taken: 5 hours
  • Trail type: streep climb with technical section and glacier walk. 
  • Difficulty: challenging

On Day 7 we will be at the camp site 2 where we will establish our camp, take some rest and do some training for upcoming days from here we will be heading to our final destination.

Summit camp

Day 07: Camp 2 to Summit Camp

  • Altitude: 4,800 meters to 5400 meters. 
  • Distance: 4.5 kilometers
  • Time taken: 6 hours
  • Trail type: ice wall climbing and glacier walk with negotiating karewas areas. 
  • Difficulty: difficult. 

On day 8, we will be moving from camp 2 to the summit camp. The region of summit camps is spacious enough so it is easy to make tents there. After taking some rest, we will start climbing toward the summit. During the climb, you will find several peaks which are too beautiful to look at. In some hours, after so much of an exciting journey, we will finally reach the summit which is our ultimate goal. There we will celebrate our victory at almost 6061m

Day 08: Buffer or Rest day

After achieving the great victory we will take a day off. Day 9 will be a buffer day for us where you can rest to your heart's content as on the next day we will again have to leave for base camp 2.

Day 09: Summit and Back to Camp 2

  • Altitude: 5400 meters to 6,061 meters to 4,800 meters. 
  • Distance: 8 kilometers
  • Time taken: 8-10 fro
  • Trail type: glacier walk with negotiating karewas and ice climbing. 
  • Difficulty: challenging

We will start moving and we will be leaving the summit and starting our downward move towards campsite 2. We will sum up all our surfing and start our journey again. While moving towards camp 2, you will find that the journey is much easier than before.

Decend to base camp

Day 10: Camp 2 to Base Camp

  • Altitude: 4,800 meters to 3,330 meters
  • Distance: 7 kilometers
  • Time taken: 7 to 8 hours
  • Trail type: steep descent with technical section. 
  • Difficulty: moderate

On Day 10 we will be leaving our camp 2 site to reach our 1st campsite. By this time you might be exhausted but Broza Adventures will be there to cheer you up and we will make sure that this last day will be as amazing as the previous one.

Keylong

Day 11: Tinno Village to Manali

Day 11, we will leave from the beautiful Tinoo Village towards Manali which is almost 138 km long, and then finally back home.
