Cycling in Solang Valley

Day 01: Arrival At Broza Adventures Camp at Solang Valley Warmup Cycling

On day 1, you have to arrive at Broza Adventures Camp. We have set up a camp at Solang Valley. After arrival, you can complete all the documentation work at the camp. Enjoy your lunch and relax for a while at the campsite. In the afternoon, we will start our short cycling tour. As it is the first day, you just have to enjoy a short ride to nearby areas. You have to enjoy acclimatization day and get accustomed to the local weather.

After a short cycling ride, you have to return to the campsite and enjoy dinner. Engage with your team members and share talks to know each other better on a ride. Take a good sleep at the camp. 

Rohtang Pass cycling

Day 02: Solang Valley to Marhi

Today is 2nd day of your cycling journey. Get up early and have a light breakfast before the journey. After breakfast, we will start the journey from our campsite at Solang Valley. We will travel through dense forests of pine and deodar trees on our route to Marhi.

This route is full of small streams flowing from the mighty mountains. You will also witness beautiful hamlets and apple orchards spread alongside the roads. As it is a bit uneven road, you may get many hairpin bends as well as switchbacks. You will see the treeline disappearing from Gulaba. Cycling through these surreal points is truly a good experience you must take once.

The cycling ride will end at Marhi which is situated around 14 km from Gulaba and 36 km from Solang Valley. It is quite a long ride but surely gives unforgettable joy to the cyclers. Exploring the town of Manali from an altitude of 3312 meters is one of the best things you must experience during a cycling ride.

We will spend a day at Marhi which is a campsite. At the campsite, we will enjoy dinner and get a good and relaxing sleep at our campsite.

Mountain bike riding

Day 03: Marhi to Solang Valley via Rohtang Pass and Atal Tunnel

On 3rd day, you must get ready for another exciting ride which starts from Marhi to Sassu via Rohtang Pass. As usual, we will start the ride in the morning after breakfast. The ride starts with a sharp climb of around 900 meters to Rohtang Pass. We have to cover a distance of 17 km by cycling on bad roads. Yes, you will face heavy traffic on Rohtang Pass but cycling excitement will keep you going on the journey.

As you move ahead on the way to Sissu, the route opens to green and dry valleys, small water streams, and large glaciers floating on the water. It is no less than any kind of dream that you are experiencing on this cycling trip. Awesome scenes of water streams with wide landscapes of green valleys will make you fall in love with Sissu, we have to finally cover our last spot and head towards Solang Valley. On the midway, you will come across Atal Tunnel which is another beautiful place to enjoy your ride. The entire route to Solang Valley is filled with lush green trees, snow-capped mountain peaks, and tranquil regions.

As you move further, the magnificent Pir Panjal Range will be visible on the route. We will take short breaks in between the ride to take fresh air and make our journey easier.

By night, we will return to Solang Valley. It is time to depart with all the sweet memories of this cycling trip.
